Abstract
Upis ceramboides (L.) has a circumpolar distribution; it is commonly found in northern forests of Europe, Asia, and North America, but aside from that information, very little is known about it. I made observations on its biology at Fairbanks, Alaska, and present a rough sketch of its life history.
