Abstract

Adult female Anurogryllus muticus (De Geer) were present in burrows from mid-April to early July; adult males lived in burrows for about 1 week in the latter part of April. Eggs were in the burrow for 4 weeks from early May to early June. Most of the nymphs remained in the parent burrow until the female died; dispersal occurred soon thereafter. The external genitalia of both sexes are illustrated.
