Abstract

The paper presents the results of the experiment, which was designed to study the process of recovery of medicinal plants species (Vaccinium vitis-idaea L., Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (L.) Spreng., Hypericum perforatum L., and Origanum vulgare L.) after cutting. We showed that restoration rates depend on a type of exploitation (periods of “rest” between removal of the phytomass) and species’ life-form. The results showed that restoration perios for the studied species varies from 4 to 10 years.
