Abstract
Life Flight Network (LFN), one of the country's oldest and most respected not-for-profit air medical programs, is known for a consistent focus on safety, quality, and customer service. LFN began operations in 1978 as Emanuel Life Flight, owned and operated by Emanuel Hospital (now Legacy Emanuel Medical Center). Emanuel Life Flight was the first hospital-based air ambulance service provider on the West Coast and only the fourth in the nation.
