Abstract

Here is demonstrated an approach toward comparative philosophy of religion by comparing the views and approaches of two philosophical theologians from the Hindu (Vedānta) tradition and the Islamic tradition on the postmortem states of the soul. This article will attempt to highlight the many advantages of philosophical theology for the field of comparative philosophy of religion.
