Abstract
The literary information and MW herbarium data from the end of the XIX century to the present are summarized as well as our own data on the distribution, substrate confinement and sensitivity to pollution in the Moscow region of foliose lichens of the Physciaceae family. The degree of study of lichens on the territory of the region is discussed. Comparative characteristics of the signs of Phaeophyscia, Physcia, Physconia genera are given. A key is given to determine the species of these genera on the territory of the Moscow region. It is proposed to include Physciella chloantha and Phaeophyscia hirsuta in the new edition of the Red Date Book of the Moscow region.
