Abstract

A checklist of lichens collected in the Big Horn Mts. in Wyoming in 2007 is presented. There were 202 species found as a result of 1400 collections at 40 localities within the Bighorn National Forest. The lichen flora is similar to those of the Black Hills and Rocky Mountains, but some unusual species were found, including Teloschistes contortuplicatus and Anaptychia ulotrichoides.
