Summary
Lichen is by defination a symbiotic organism. Symbiotic partners are phycobiont (algae) and mycobiont (fungi). Collection of lichen from National Botanical Garden. Fungi associated with the lichen were isolated separately following Tissue planting method (CAB 1968). Six genera of lichen were recorded in National Botanical Garden Mirpur, Dhaka.
