Abstract

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common cause of anovulation and affect 5-10% of women in the reproductive age. Compared to normal cycling women, those with PCOS generally exhibit increased serum LH concentrations, low-normal FSH levels. Several observations suggest that excessive LH stimulation plays an important role in the pathophysiology of PCOS. In this study LH regulated gene expression was studied in ovaries of PCOS women.
