Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of Arabic loanwords in the Bedawie language. It aims to determine the changes that have occurred and pedagogical contributions offered by the use of Arabic loanwords in Bedawie. Our analysis of these loanwords speculates on the possible explanations of the research problem. Primarily, this paper has been prepared valid findings pertaining morphological processes in the semantic field, using the case study of Arabic loanwords in Bedawie. A descriptive analytical approach is employed whereby the collected data is structured in terms of semantic relationships. In conclusion, the data analysis results that a modification of Arabic loanwords has occurred during these borrowing processes. During this change original meanings of Arabic words are adapted for these words to be used like other Bedawie words. Pedagogical implementation will be attempted to teach such words in Bedawie and other languages.
