Abstract

All things considered, we can establish three models of quantification with the lexeme par as a word with numerical meaning: ?) a very productive model of quantification of dual concepts such as: ??? ???? ?????? (?two pairs of shoes?), with the numerical value of ?2?; b) a relatively unproductive and lexically very limited model of quantification of complex units made up of two separate, unsymmetrical, non-cognate objects, such as: ??? ???? ???? (?two pairs of laundry?), with the numerical value of ?1?; ?) expansive, lexically limited and slightly (or very?) controversial model of quantification of the meaning of pluralia tantum nouns, such as: ??? ?????? (?a pair of scissors?), ??? ???? ????????? (?two pairs of trousers?), mostly with the numerical value of ?1?, rarely ?2?.
