Abstract

The Problem Work has rapidly changed over the decades forcing the field to address the notion of pull issues and what these forces demand of HRD. The Solution This preface article introduces the notion and importance of pull issues to the future of HRD. A brief overview of each contributing article is provided. Recommendations for HRD research, theory, and practice are offered. The Stakeholders Scholars and practitioners interested in the importance of the progression and maturation of the field of HRD.
