Abstract

With protons in the energy range E p = 0.4−3.1 MeV, sixty-five resonances were found in the reaction 35Cl(p, γ) 36Ar. About forty of these resonances were not reported earlier. The resonance energies and the resonance strengths are given. The gamma-ray spectra at the resonances were investigated with scintillation spectrometers. From single and coincidence spectra the gamma-ray branchings of most of the resonances and of thirteen lower 36Ar levels were obtained. At some of the investigated resonances, gamma rays were observed from proton emission to the first and second excited state of 35Cl.
