Abstract

This paper introduces the hydraulic suspension system's optimized strategy based on the genetic algorithm. To adapt to the various road conditions, it can be reduced with the synchronization error between the independent suspensions by such an algorithmic controller and level the vehicle with a rapid speed. Optimized with the genetic PID algorithm, the process of leveling can realize the dynamic characteristic control. The co-simulation research was carried out and compared with the fuzzy-PID controller by establishing the hydraulic leveling circuit and the genetic PID optimization algorithm via AMESim and MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation tests eventually validate that the utilization of the PID controller with the genetic algorithm can effectively optimize leveling time of the vehicle and more accurately than the fuzzy PID controller.
