Abstract
Objectives: There have been conflicting reports in the literature about the relationship between lesion level and sperm parameters in men with SCI, with some studies finding an association and others not. This discrepancy may be due to differences among studies in the method of semen collection (penile vibratory stimulation (PVS) vs. electroejaculation (EEJ)), in the fraction analyzed (antegrade vs. retrograde), or in the sperm parameters measured. The objective of this study was to correct for these factors and determine if the level of injury is a predictor of semen quality in men with SCI.
