Abstract

Building information modeling (BIM) is the foundation of digital transformation in the construction industry and organization. One of the most challenges during modeling and digitalization is to ensure that the level of information of elements meets the need of BIM uses as well as to prevent delivery of too much information. This paper presents a case study of a process for defining a level of information need of BIM based on requirements of an organization and projects.
