Abstract

Leuctra apenninicola sp. n. is described and compared with the closely related L. insubrica Aubert, including figures of the abdomens of both species. L. apenninicola occurs in small watercourses, mainly between 600 and 1500 m, and emerges from spring to summer. It occurs in the Apennines from Lombardia to Toscana.
