Abstract

I appreciate your comments in the “From the Editor” column in the Disability History issue. As an advocate for people with disabilities in Hollywood for the past 20 years, I have been introduced to an amazing group of people. They like your father, are just who they are. I was struck by the manner in which the Spalding School students were taught to help others—how wonderful! It's so heartwarming to know that children were getting that kind of direction and support to help them grow into productive, compassionate adults. Thank you also for using the photo Blair took of the Tropic Thunder protest. He is so pleased. He had me add it to his Facebook fan page so he could show off his work.
