Abstract
IN THE interesting article in your December issue on the REME School of Electronic Engineering, John Wellens, commenting on the thoroughness of the training in this particular REME school, asks inter alia whether it is generally recognised in industry and in the Ministry of Labour what is involved in producing good training. I would suggest as far as the Ministry of Labour is concerned that, with the recent appointment of Colonel A. L. Work as Technical Adviser on Industrial Training, the answer to this question must now be ‘yes’.
