Although, the authors correctly state the importance of fertility sparing surgical management, we were concerned as to the size of the incision and removal of the entire ovary. In the patient with a high clinical suspicion for a benign large pelvic mass, such as a mucinous cystadenoma, it is important to consider minimally invasive techniques as well as ovarian sparing surgery to prevent future morbidity.
