Abstract

We want to congratulate Alm et al. [ [1] Lena Alm, Tobias C. Drenck, Karl-Heinz Frosch, et al. Lateral extra-articular tenodesis in patients with revision anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and high-grade anterior knee instability. 2020, 27(5):1451–57 Google Scholar ] on the publication of their study, “Lateral extra-articular tenodesis (LET) in patients with revision anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and high-grade anterior knee instability.” In this retrospective study, the authors concluded that additional modified Lemaire procedure in patients with revision ACL reconstruction (ACLR) and high-grade anterior instability significantly reduces the risk of failure of revision ACLR, the incidence of pivot-shift and increases postoperative functional outcome. We really appreciate the work that has been done by the authors. However, there are some worthwhile issues need to be explored.
