Abstract
Liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization mass spectrometry was used to investigate eight different preparations of an antithyroid stimulating hormone murine monoclonal antibody, obtained from a single cellular clone grown under identical conditions. While the spectra of the intact IgG provided a primary fingerprint distinguishing the investigated lots, subsequent analysis of the antibody fragments further confirmed the differences.
