To the Editor: We read with interest the article by Kato et al1 recently published in Circulation: Heart Failure . Findings add to the series of reports suggesting that combining cardiopulmonary exercise test and natriuretic peptide levels in a population of potential heart transplant candidates strengthens risk stratification accuracy.
