Abstract

Multimedia and hypermedia had and still have a tremendous impact on the evolution of educational software. Internet based systems have been shown to be useful tools for supporting educational communication for teachers and students. In this paper, we analyze and present in detail the lessons learned during Synchronous Distance Learning in University level at Congo. The Synchronous Distance Learning took place between Greece (where the teacher located) and Congo (where the students located). In addition, we present the pedagogical and technical challenges during the above Distance Learning sessions between a European county and an African country.
