Abstract

The new status report from Norway written by Kasper et al. provides a good picture of the arrangements the Norwegian authorities have made to promote the implementation of Shared Decision Making (SDM) [1]. This includes setting learning objectives in SDM assignments given to the health service and commissioning the use of Patient Decision Aids (PDAs). The report focuses on the South-Eastern Norwegian Health Authority’s region of Norway, which has the highest population density and the most people, around Norway’s capital Oslo.
