Abstract

The Solutiones obiectionum arrianorum (CPL 812) are a small document three times longer than the text published in the seventeenth century by P.-F. Chifflet and taken up in Migne. Here is given the complete edition established on the basis of 21 surviving manuscripts. Classified among the spuria of Vigil of Tapse, they are actually a authentic booklet of the African bishop and were used for the redaction of the Liber Fidei Catholicae given to the arian king Huneric at the Council of Carthage in 484.
