Abstract

The author studies five sarcophagal tombs found not far from Toulouse. The funerary furniture found there can be dated to the middle of the 6th century A.D. The presence of these five isolated burial places perhaps argues in favour of a thinly-settled population on the outskirts of the city of Toulouse in the late Middle Ages.
