Abstract

Looking for Keynesian aspects in Marx , Joan Robinson rejects his fundamental (normative) propositions which she describes as metaphysical . Thanks to the Sraffaian criticism of neo-classicism and to Kaleckïs contribution , freed from its finalism, she is able to reintegrate the Keynesian analysis purged of its ideological elements. Having thus accomplished these successive reductions, Joan Robinson tackles the problem of a purely scientific generalisation of Keynesian thought, setting up privileged relations using his analytical propositions, delivered of their idealism.
