Abstract

The emission bands of the B2Π–X2Π transition of 14N32S and 15N32S have been reanalysed in the spectral range 2500–5650 Å. The B2Π state, observed up to ν = 12, shows strong perturbations caused by interactions with the b4Σ− and a4Π valence states and with the B′2Σ+ state. The study of the two molecules allows the vibrational numbering and gives approximate constants of the different states from the positions of the observed perturbations and the isotopic displacements.
