Abstract

ABSTRACT The some 150 triangular, perforated, pendants from the south of France are of various sizes. The are mostly made of shale or jade, but sometimes of limestone, calcite or aragonite. They are mainly found in the Grands Causses region and belong to funerary units from the Chalcoli- thic or Early Bronze Age. They can probably be attributed to the Treilles group.
