Abstract

Abstract Describes loessic clays at Cuges and in the vicinity of Aubagne, respectively 30 and 18 km east of Marseilles, France. Although of limited extent and unfossiliferous, these deposits can be dated from their position as early upper Quaternary (Aurignacian).
