Abstract

Hymenoptera Symphyta of Corsica: knowledge review and new records. Studying collected material of some field trips during the Our Planet Reviewed in Corsica 2019-2021 scientific expeditions and coming from a survey with a Malaise trap by the Office de l’Environnement de Corse, many species were recorded, of which 14 of great interest. Pseudoryssus henschii is a new country record for France and the following 13 additional species are reported for the first time in Corsica: Janus compressus, Arge berberidis, Brachythops flavens, Aneugmenus coronatus Athalia liberta, Allantus togatus, Emphytus laticinctus, Monostegia abdominalis, Priophorus brullei, Priophorus compressicornis, Cytisogaster genistae, Macrophya annulata and Tenthredo temula. Currently, 94 species of sawflies (Hymenoptera, Symphyta) are known in Corsica.
