Abstract
The Guides à pattes collection is a series of short educational books for children that present the archaeological heritage of Switzerland. Written in collaboration with archaeology and history museums, these texts explore various themes from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages, illustrated by Swiss sites. Positive feedback from using the books in the cantons of Vaud, Geneva and Fribourg asserts that the books are interesting and attractive conceptual tools for teaching history.
