Abstract

The Clytini, a group of long-horned beetles to watch (Coleoptera Cerambycidae) Twenty-two species of phytophagous Coleoptera belonging to the tribe Clytini are present in the Rhone-Alpes region (France). Data collected during the last century, and more particularly during the last fifty years, show an unconstant diversity of this group of species and a very different evolution of their distribution. The majority of the species can be considered as stable, but others appear to be expanding or decreasing. More detailed analysis concerns some species around Lyon. The origin of the changes in distribution is multiple and is not related only to anthropic factors, but must take into account the biology of the species and the history of their distribution on a larger scale.
