Abstract

Low-income and needs of banking services Each year Secours Catholique serves over 700.000 people. From the experience gained through the services offered, and help given to this population ; Secours Catholique, a caritative NGO, is able to propose a pertinent analisys of the needs of people in situations of great precariousness. A low income level of resources leads to difficulties in relation to services in the banking system : no acceptance of application for the opening of a bank account, for credit granting, lack of advice and consideration, and no proper offer for appropriate means, linked with the client’s difficulty.
