Abstract
Abstract Several horizons, well defined on the basis of their micrographic and micropaleontologic characteristics, are recognized in the Senonian (Cretaceous) sediments traversed by excavations for the gas line northward from the Lacq field in Charente toward the center of France. Precise stratigraphic definition of the zones was possible with the aid of associated ammonites and species of Inoceramus.
