Abstract

Abstract We perform a detailed study of the b → cτν and b → sl+l− processes in a minimal flipped 331 model based on the SU(3)C × SU(3)L × U(1)X gauge symmetry. The non universal SU(3)L × U(1)X symmetry in the lepton sector gives rise to non universal neutral and charged currents involving heavy non SM gauge bosons and SM leptons that yield radiative contributions to the b → s, b → c, s → u and d → u transitions arising from one loop level penguin and box diagrams. We found that the observables related to these transitions agree with their experimental values in a region of parameter space that includes TeV scale exotic up type quarks, within the LHC’s reach.
