Abstract

Abstract A description is provided for Lemalis aurea found on dead and decaying twigs and cones, attached to trash, or in the litter, usually of Pinus sp. Some information on its morphology, habitat, dispersal and transmission and conservation status is given, along with details of its geographical distribution (Portugal (Madeira), Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Norway and UK) and hosts ( Pinus spp.).
