Abstract

The article presents the results of the legislation study of the Republic of Poland in the field of security as a necessary factor in European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes. With the proclamation of state independence, Poland begins to actively implement the principles of democratic development of society and establish a rule-of-law state, forming a new regulatory and legal framework. The strategic direction of the country’s foreign policy development is a fundamental change of priorities in favour of the West: integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures. Working simultaneously in these two areas, complementing each other, helps the state to reach a new level of development and existence.
