Abstract

The teaching and research staff, the teaching and research staff auxiliary, as well as the management, guidance and control staff in higher education are disciplinary liable for breach of their duties under the individual employment contract, as well as for breach of ethical or behavioral rules which harms the interest of education and the prestige of the university. The sanctions applicable in such cases are those provided for in the legislation underlying the conduct of teaching activities, but it is necessary that they be individualized so that the general principles of fairness and good faith are respected.
