Abstract
Community nurses working for Roger Park Community NHS Trust were aware that their workload was increasing because of the fact that many residents who had been placed in residential care homes required more intensive nursing than was appropriate. Some residents required several visits a day. Had they been placed in nursing homes, then staff in the home would have been attending to their nursing needs. What action can the community nurses take?
