Abstract

One of the priority tasks of modernizing healthcare is to strengthen the system of professional medical education, which includes scientific research conducted in medical universities. The article considers the current legal environment of medical University research activities, including issues of the legal status of researchers. Complex issues of competitive selection prior to the conclusion or extension of an employment contract are considered, including violations of the University’s rules for conducting competitive selection of researchers, setting deadlines, including indefinite ones, when concluding employment contracts.
