Abstract
This paper summarises some developments in legal education in university law schools, particularly in Canada, over the last decade ( 2007-2017). The goals and methods of university law schools have been under constant scholarly critique for over a century. The aim is to assist founders of any new law school, or reformers in existing law schools, to consider which developments to include or not in any proposed curriculum. The author includes some aspirational and personal recommendations for possible inclusion in any new law school curriculum.
