Abstract
Transport of perishable cargoes is legally regulated in detail. Relating to these regulations is crucial for proper select of transport technologies for these loads. The paper describes currently applicable legal regulations for the transport of perishable cargoes and relates them to the method of selecting multimodal technologies for transporting perishable cargo, which has been described in [3] and [4]. Examples of including legal conditions while choosing transport technology using this method are presented. As it was determined the temperature and time are important factors for analyzed loads. Furthermore, an array of other determinants of safe transport is significant.
