Abstract

The regulation of artificial intelligence aims to strike a balance between promoting innovation and protecting the interests, rights, and well-being of individuals and society as a whole. It is an evolving field that requires ongoing adaptation to keep pace with advances in AI technologies and address emerging ethical, legal, and societal challenges. The worldwide law and regulation implications on AI are aimed at ensuring that AI technologies are developed, deployed, and used in a manner that benefits society while mitigating potential risks and challenges. AI regulation presents several challenges such as the complexities and diversity of AI, access to resources, accountability and transparency and many more. The regulatory and policy landscape for AI is rapidly evolving as governments and regulatory bodies seek to address the opportunities and challenges associated with AI technologies. By developing robust and adaptive regulatory frameworks, jurisdictions can promote innovation, protect societal values, and ensure that AI technologies contribute to the common good.
