Abstract

LED-based visible light communication is a new type of communication technology that has developed rapidly in recent years. It has the advantages of rich spectrum, green environmental protection, high speed and good confidentiality. White LEDs as light source enable simultaneous illumination and communication. This paper studies and introduces the light source, channel, modulation method and application of LED-based indoor VLC system. There are problems such as multipath effect and ISI in communication. The solution introduced in this paper is divided into two aspects, light source improvement and signal modulation, and this paper introduces and compares of OOK, PPW and OFDM modulation and demodulation scheme.LED-based visible light communication is a new type of communication technology that has developed rapidly in recent years.
