Abstract
I would like to introduce a gallery renewal and earthquake resistant renovation project for the TOYOKAN (Asian Gallery) of the Tokyo National Museum. This project comes at a time when the implementation of LEDs is now the backdrop for lighting design. The goal of this gallery renewal is to aspire to international museums levels of gallery and lighting design. The lighting concept aims to "unify the architectural space and gallery environment".
