### Lawrence C. McHenry Award in History of Neurology Sponsored by the American Academy of Neurology, the Lawrence C. McHenry Award recognizes excellence in research in the History of Neurology. John C. Keesey, MD, Los Angeles, CA, will present his lecture,Some Contemporary Views of Mary Walker, on Tuesday, April 28 during Session 02: History of Neurology in the Minneapolis Convention Center. ### John Jay Dystel Prize For Multiple Sclerosis Research Sponsored by the American Academy of Neurology and National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the John Jay Dystel Prize recognizes outstanding contributions to research in the understanding, treatment or prevention of multiple sclerosis. The recipient of the 1998 Dystel Prize is Henry F. McFarland, MD, Bethesda, MD. He will present his lecture on Tuesday, April 28 at 2:00 PM during Session 04: MS-Therapeutic Trials at the Minneapolis Convention Center. ### Movement Disorders Research Award Endowed by the Parkinson's Disease Foundation Sponsored by the American Academy of Neurology, The Parkinson's Disease Foundation, and the AAN Section on Movement Disorders, the Movement Disorders Research Award recognizes an individual for outstanding work in the field of Parkinson's disease or other movement disorders for either a single outstanding contribution or for lifetime achievement. Roger C. Duvoisin, MD, New Brunswick, England is the 1998 Movement Disorders Research Award recipient.
