Abstract
The reverse time migration can accurately image the vertical structure and complex velocity model, but it has serious low- frequency noise. Least-squares reverse time migration with the idea of inversion can output higher quality imaging results, but its computational cost is too high. In this paper, we first introduce the basic principle of least-squares reverse time migration and then propose a Least-squares reverse time migration of seismic source coding based on Shearlet transform to speed up the computation and improve the imaging quality. This method is tested in several models and compared with the conventional least-squares reverse time migration method. It is concluded that this method has a large advantage in computational efficiency while ensuring a certain imaging quality.
