Abstract

This article presents a Learning-Training-Counseling (LTC) model for group counseling. The theoretical model synthesizes theories and practices of group counseling, T-group training methodology, and selected basic learning principles. Three major phases of group development under the LTC model are described. Specific behavioral guidelines are provided for the counselortrainer to follow in implementing the model. Discussion includes suggested applications of the model and requisite counselor training.
